About ARN

The African Resource Network (ARN) is an unincorporated membership network within the Center for African Refugees and Immigrants. Africans represent one of America’s fastest-growing communities.

Africans represent one of America’s fastest-growing communities. As the community has grown so have the number of community organizations that have developed in support of it. ARN builds connections among African community-based organizations (CBOs) throughout the United States. The Network provides a voice for the African community. We empower and expand newcomer participation in the civic process and raise public awareness about the challenges African newcomers face. In short, ARN fosters integration among communities. CARI works with the Network to strengthen members’ agencies through community, organizational, resource development, and technical assistance services.
