Eligibility

The network grants membership status according to specified criteria, which includes the following:

Full Membership Status: Full membership status is granted to U.S.-based 501 (c) 3 African community organizations that provide direct services to or work with refugee and other newcomer groups, whose origins are in the African continent. Full Members assume leadership roles and have voting privileges in areas such as electing governance/leadership, policy/advocacy decision-making, and financial decision-making.

Associate Membership Status: Associate membership status is open to any non-profit organization, foundation, business, or individual that supports the mission. Associate Members have no voting privileges but can serve by invitation or appointment on committees and can take advantage of network programs and services.

Join the African Resource Network
The African Resource Network (ARN) is a national network of organizations and individuals engaged in promoting the well-being of Africans living in the United States.It is facilitated and managed by ECDC CARI. The Network serves as a forum for members to share personal experiences, build organizational capacity, and collectively organize around shared concerns.
